1. Agreement and acceptance
These Terms are between you and Tianjin Chenwei Technology Co., Ltd., the developer and operator of the Builder Calculator mobile application and related website.
By selecting “Agree and continue” or using Builder Calculator, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms and the Builder Calculator Privacy Policy. Do not continue if you disagree.
2. The service
Builder Calculator provides fraction, length, area, volume, board-feet, roof-pitch, stair, concrete, and paint calculations, together with history, projects, material rollups, supplier quotes, procurement lists, CSV, and PDF quote exports.
Available features may vary by app version, device, region, and app-store configuration.
3. Professional use and verification
Builder Calculator provides planning and material-estimating assistance. It is not structural engineering, architectural design, safety certification, audited costing, tax, legal, or code-compliance advice and does not replace a licensed professional.
- Verify measurements, units, waste, package sizes, prices, taxes, and site conditions.
- Check stair, roof, concrete, and similar results against local codes, drawings, manufacturer information, and professional requirements.
- Never rely solely on Builder Calculator where an error could cause injury, structural failure, property damage, or non-compliance.
- Have critical results reviewed by a qualified person before purchasing or construction.
4. Local data and your content
Project names, notes, suppliers, customers, product links, prices, and measurements you enter are your content. You are responsible for its accuracy, legality, necessity, and authorization.
Builder Calculator currently stores data primarily on your device. Secure your device, use operating-system access controls, export important records, and understand your backup settings. Clearing data, uninstalling, device failure, or device replacement can cause unexported data loss.
5. Exports, sharing, and quotes
You choose when to generate procurement lists, CSV files, and customer quotes. Review customer names, material quantities, pricing, tax, margin, notes, and disclaimers before export.
You control recipients and further use and are responsible for resulting quotations, purchases, contracts, and privacy obligations. A Builder Calculator quote is not electronic contracting, payment, invoicing, or audit functionality.
6. Lifetime Pro and in-app purchases
Lifetime Pro is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase tied to the Apple ID or Google account used for purchase. It is not a subscription and has no recurring charge.
Presentation, pricing, currency, billing, refunds, family sharing, and restoration are managed by the applicable app store. Use Restore Purchases with the same store account. Refunds are handled under Apple App Store or Google Play rules except where law requires otherwise.
7. Acceptable use
- Do not use Builder Calculator to create, store, or distribute unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, or malicious content.
- Do not bypass Pro access, forge purchase status, attack security mechanisms, or reverse engineer except where law expressly permits.
- Do not disrupt the app, website, stores, or other users.
- Do not present unverified output as a licensed professional conclusion or safety guarantee.
8. Intellectual property
Builder Calculator code, interface, icons, branding, copy, and related materials belong to Tianjin Chenwei Technology Co., Ltd. or their respective owners. You retain applicable rights in content you lawfully enter and export. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Builder Calculator.
9. Third-party services
Builder Calculator calls Apple App Store or Google Play for purchases and restoration and uses system services when you save, print, or share files. Those services are independently operated and governed by their own terms and privacy practices.
10. Changes or discontinuation
We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue features to fix defects, improve security, support operating systems, or meet store and legal requirements. Capabilities dependent on app stores or operating systems may not always remain available in the same form.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
We use reasonable efforts to keep Builder Calculator reliable but do not promise that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every site, material, or code.
Responsibility for losses caused by incorrect input, lack of professional verification, site or price changes, device failure, third-party services, force majeure, or use outside the intended purpose will be determined under applicable law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable beyond mandatory legal limits for indirect loss, lost expected profit, or data loss caused by inadequate backups.
12. Stopping use and deleting data
You may stop using and uninstall Builder Calculator at any time. There is no independent cloud account. Delete local projects or app data through the app or device, and delete exported files from their destinations separately. Stopping use does not affect prior purchases, disputes, or provisions intended to survive.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China. The parties should first attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith discussion; unresolved disputes may be submitted to a court with lawful jurisdiction.
14. Updates to these Terms
We may update these Terms when features, business models, third-party services, or legal requirements change. Material updates will be highlighted in the app or website, and a version change can require renewed acceptance.
